Difference Between LMR195, LMR240, LMR 400 Coaxial Cable

Coaxial Cable is a wire and signals transmission cable, which is generally caused by four layers of material: the innermost is a conductive copper wire, and the outside of the line has a layer of plastic (as an insulator, dielectric used) around the insulator outside and a thin layer of mesh conductive body (generally copper or alloy), and then the conductive body outside the outermost insulating material as the outer skin. Coaxial cable can be used for analog and digital signal transmission, mobile communications, base stations, radar, and other areas of the antenna system.

The more common low-loss cables, such as LMR195, LMR200, LMR240, LMR300, and LMR400 models. These numbers represent the thickness of the shield (also known as the grade) and have a corresponding low loss degree.

From the above table, the decibel loss of an LRM400 cable is only 0.36 dB/m for the same signal, while the LMR200 cable is 0.87 dB/m.

What's the meaning of LMR?

LMR stands for the brand of Time Microwave Corporation. The company’s cables are very low loss, super flexible, high frequency, good abrasion resistance, better than -90dB shielding, and very cost-effective. It is widely used in mobile communication, base station radar, and other fields of antenna feeder systems. RFC is made by Shireen, and both FC400 and LMR400 are low loss but high-performance RG8 coaxial cables.

Many Helium Miner Antenna on the market come with coaxial cable LMR200, if you want to get better helium mining earnings then you can choose an additional LMR400 cable.
