X96 X4 vs X96 X6 Android TV Box, Which One is Better?

Both X96 X4 and X96 X6 are the latest Android TV boxes in 2021. They are all selling well with good feedback.

However, do you know their difference?

1. Chipset

X96 X4 TV Box is using an Amlogic S905X4 chipset, while the X96 X6 is using the RockChip 3566 chipset.

2. RAM & RAM

X96 X6 support: 4G/32G, 8G/64G, and 8G/128G

X96 X4 support: 4G/32G and 4G/64G

Clearly, the X96 X6 TV Box has more space if you want to download more Apps or save more files.

3. Bluetooth

X96 X6 supports BT4.2, while X96 X4 Box only supports BT4.1.

4. LAN

X96 X4 Android Box supports 100M/1000M Ethernet. However, the X96 X6 TV box can only support 1000M.

If your network and the router are 1000M, then the X96 X6 box will work. If your network and the router are only 100M, the X96 X6 box will now show 1000M speed, it will only show 100M as it is not corresponding.

5. Design

From the above picture, it seems does not much difference in design, but if you look at this picture, you will find out there is LED lighting on the X96 X4 TV box.

Though X96 X6 does not have the LED lighting feature, It is using the Aluminum-alloy shell for the box, which can have a fast heat dissipation.

6. Antenna

X96 X6 has the extra Antenna, which can have a large WIFI signal.

X96 X4 box is not available, but you can use a USB WIFI Dongle.

7. Price

Because they have different configurations, the price is completely different.

X96 X6 TV Box is about 85 USD to 118 USD, while X96 X4 Android Box is about 85 USD from 95 USD.
